The Office of Transportation Cooperatives (OTC) held a Cooperative Education for Transport Operations Seminar (CETOS) among members of transport cooperatives in Cagayan de Oro City last December 26.

During the seminar, the resource speakers, Mr. Albert Cruz and Ms. Emma Tagadtad, emphasized the purpose and importance of consolidation of the public transport industry into companies, consortiums or cooperatives since the LTFRB will no longer renew franchises owned individually.

Some 58 participants attended the CETOS. The cooperatives represented during the seminar were GOFETCO, BPCODA, LUTTODA, BONODA, BODA and ZALACODA.
