The hearing was held based on Public Services Resolution No. 554 and Senate Resolution No. 408 directing the mentioned Senate Committee to conduct an inquiry on the status of the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP).

OTC Chairman Virtucio discusses the PUVMP with LTFRB Chairperson Martin Delgra III.

Several transport groups raised their concerns regarding the PUVMP right after.
