THE Department of Transportation (DOTr) has designated the head of the Operations Division of the Office of Transportation Cooperatives (OTC), which is mandated to promulgate and implement rules and regulations governing the promotion, organization, accreditation, regulation, supervision and development of transportation cooperatives all over the country, as Officer-In-Charge of the agency that is attached with DOTr.
Special Order No. 2022-125, dated July 1, 2022, designates MS. CRESENCIANA E.S. GALVEZ, Chief Cooperative Development Specialist of the Operations Division, as the Officer-In-Charge of the Office of Transportation Cooperatives, pursuant to the Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 1, 2022, dated 30 June 2022, signed by EXECUTIVE SECRETARY ATTY. VICTOR D. RODRIGUEZ.
“In the exigency and interest of the service, Ms. Galvez is directed to perform and discharge the functions and responsibilities as Officer-In-Charge of the Office of Transportation Cooperatives until 31 July 2022, or until replacement has been appointed or designated, whichever comes first,” the Special Order, signed by TRANSPORTATION SECRETARY JAIME J. BAUTISTA, stated.
The same Special Order directs Ms. Galvez to immediately report to the Office of the Transportation Secretary all issues and concerns requiring the Department’s immediate attention.
Ms. Galvez joined OTC in October 1, 1992, as Clerk III. She later assumed as Fiscal’s Examiner, and on November 1, 2013, occupied the position of Administrative Officer V, before becoming Chief of the Operations Division on September 1, 2014.
Ms. Galvez hailed from San Jose, Del Monte Bulacan. She completed her degree in Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Major in Accounting, at the Mabini Colleges, Daet, Camarines Norte. She earned her Masters’ Degree in Management, at Trinity College in Quezon City.
She is also a recipient of a Certificate in Short Course in Transportation Planning, Traffic and Engineering bestowed by the University of the Philippines’ National Center for Transportation Studies. (COI – IO III)
