LTFRB approves Local Public Transport Routing Plan of General Santos City –OTC Chairman

The Office of Transportation Cooperatives Chairman Emmanuel Virtucio announced that the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board Central Office has already approved the Local Public Transport Routing Plan (LPTRP) of General Santos City.

Chairman Virtucio called for an inter-agency meeting to discuss the next steps to do after the Notice of Compliance has been received by the local government of General Santos City.

Dr. Agripino Dacera Jr. of the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office presented the 14 approved routes in the LPTRP. After which, Atty. Armando Clarin, City Legal Officer, shared to the meeting that the City Mayor Ronnel Rivera aims to implement the approved routes by June 2018.
