Jesus Ferdinand De Perio Ortega, Andy as fondly called by his friends, a private individual, has eventually landed and joined government service after more than 35 years in the corporate world, 30 years of which as a Labor Union leader. He was appointed Chairman of the Office of Transportation Cooperatives by the President of the Republic of the Philippines, His Excellency Ferdinand “BongBong” R. Marcos. This is such a milestone in the career of Chairman Ortega and a blessing to the OTC family and the transport cooperative sector, as well.
5 April 2023 marks the 50th day of Chairman Ortega as a public servant. Despite this short span of time, he has achieved a lot and maneuvered OTC in a strategic direction and engaging manner with emphasis on good governance, enhanced public image and the voice of the TC-sector.
